The full rules
The game
A weekly competition on top of official Fantasy Premier League.
- You link your official FPL team. Your real FPL points for that gameweek rank you on our leaderboard.
- Entry is always free. Money never buys points — the ranking is pure FPL skill.
- Two products: the Weekly Slate (the main leaderboard) and Mini Leagues (your friends' league).
Who can play, and who gets paid
Anyone can play. Receiving prize money is what has requirements.
- Playing is open to everyone. Link your team, enter the Slate, and rank on the leaderboard — no verification needed to compete.
- To receive prize money you must be KYC-verified, or a trader with more than $1,000,000 of trading volume, including prediction markets, over the rolling last 12 months.
- Traders above $1,000,000 are exempt from KYC end to end, including receiving prizes.
- Without either, you can still play and appear in the standings, but you will not receive Slate prizes or league rewards.
- Trader status is re-checked live. Drop below $1,000,000 and you stop qualifying for prizes from the next deadline unless you are KYC-verified. Weeks you already entered settle normally.
- Geographic restrictions apply.
Joining and your team ID
- You prove the team is yours by renaming it to a code we generate.
- Once verified, your team ID is locked for the season. This stops anyone switching to a better-scoring team after results are known.
- One team ID equals one account. The first verified claim wins.
- After linking you are entered automatically every gameweek until you opt out. Opting out takes effect from the next deadline, and re-entry is one click.
How your score works
Read per gameweek from the official FPL API.
- Your official FPL points for that gameweek only — never cumulative totals, never deltas.
- If you opt out and come back, the missed weeks are simply unscored. There is no catch-up.
The Weekly Slate prize pool
$5,000 per gameweek, flat. It never grows and never shrinks.
- Base pool $3,500 (70%) — paid by rank, the same for everyone.
- Tier bonus pool $1,500 (30%) — shared by Bronze and above who finish in the paying places, weighted by tier.
- Total payout is at most $5,000. If caps make it lower, it is lower.

- Only the top 25% of entrants are paid. The other 75% receive nothing.
- A lower rank can never pay more than a higher one. In small fields the shared cash-line prize is capped at the rank-10 prize.
- Ties split the combined prize money of the tied positions. Rounding is always down, and the pool is never exceeded.
Tiers and the bonus pool
Your tier comes from your activity in the gameweek window — it runs to Thursday 23:59 and resets every Friday.

- One path is enough — spend or volume. Hitting both in the same week adds +0.25 weight.
- Holding $1,000 or more in vaults adds a standing +0.25 weight.
- Maximum total weight is 3.5. Tiers reset every week.
- The window runs Thursday to Thursday, not match to match. Anything you spend or trade up to Thursday 23:59 counts toward the current gameweek — even after its matches have finished — and your boosts reset every Friday. Playing catch-up on Monday still qualifies you for this gameweek's bonus pool.
- Your bonus = $1,500 × your weight ÷ the total weight of all tiered winners. Only tiered players who finish in the paying places share it.
- Fewer tiered winners means bigger slices. If nobody tiered wins that week, the $1,500 is simply not paid.
- Volume includes prediction market trades on the same basis as other trades, as reported by the platform, with no adjustments.
Free players
Playing free can win real money, within limits.
- Only the top 10 Free-ranked players each week win anything. The 11th Free player onward gets nothing.
- Each receives the lower of $20 and their rank's prize. A Free player finishing 1st overall receives $20, not $525.
- Total for all Free players is capped at $200 per week.
- Free players never share the $1,500 tier bonus pool.
Mini Leagues
A hard season budget of $10,000.
- One FPL league ID can be imported once, ever. The league must already exist on FPL, created 30 or more days before import, with 6 or more members.
- You can play in as many leagues as you like, but your spend and volume count towards one home league only. You can change your home league once per season.
- Top 50 leagues by combined member card spend win $100 each, and the top 50 by combined trading volume win $100 each. A league can win both lists, for $200.
- A league needs at least 5 eligible members, each entered at least once. Ghost members do not count.
- Paid at the end of the season, once, computed over full-season activity.
- The $100 goes to the league's top-ranked eligible member by FPL points, winner takes all. An ineligible player can top the display table but is skipped. A tie at the top splits equally.
- Members can never add their own money to a league pot.
Gold Tokens
- Free coupons. They cannot be bought.
- Earned by reaching Bronze or above for 4 gameweeks in a row, or per qualified referral — both the referrer and the referee get one.
- One token gives you Gold weight (3×) in the tier bonus pool for one gameweek of your choosing.
- Redeem before that gameweek's deadline. Single use, and expires after 4 gameweeks.
Scout Program (referrals)
Every manager you bring in earns you a share of what they win.
- You earn 5% of everything your referee wins, all season. Hyperbeat pays it on top — it is never deducted from your friend's winnings.
- A referral counts once the new user deposits $50 or more, holds it 14 days, and enters at least one contest.
- Capped at $1,000 matched per referee, and $5,000 per Scout per season.
- 3 qualified referrals lock a permanent Bronze floor, and 10 lock a permanent Silver floor — your tier can never drop below it.
- Attribution is first-touch and permanent. The first link a user joins through decides their Scout forever.
- Floor-holders and token redemptions count as non-activity weight, which can claim at most 25% of the tier pool in any week.
